Auld Lang Syne

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

Welcome to the new year, and welcome to your constant internal battle of trying to make yourself better.
Good Luck.

I read somewhere that the the most popular resolution among Americans is to loose weight. Trying to counteract our own obesity statistics, eh? We do have a tendency to try to disprove what people don't like about us. This is undoubtly human, since no matter how hard I try; the walls in the hallway won't change themselves from primer white to a deep green.

My own resolutions? I don't make them. If I want to do something, I try to do it. It's not uncommon for my ambition to die due to lack of inspiration or laziness, but I try (sometimes).

Narrowing my rambling to the point of the matter:
This being my first blog post, it should be evident I'm by no means someone to get to the point. So, this is to serve as a bit of a scratch pad, a moleskine (which I refuse to use due to the absurd prices for six signatures of paper). I intend to use it to publish my thoughts; hand out a little philosophical food for anyone who reads it. Post might be weekly; or when ever I squeeze one in.

Questions, comments or concerns gratefully accepted in the comments

And there’s a hand my trusty friend !
And
give us a hand o’ thine !
And we’ll
take a right good-will draught,
for auld lang syne.
